Which Is Better?
The question of which method of printing is better has been asked many times over the past few years, and the answer is not cut and dry. One printing method is not “better” than the other, but each one has their pros and cons depending on the type of print job. So if you’re trying to decide between digital printing and screen printing, you’ve come to the right place!
Screen Printing
Screen Printing is the traditional t-shirt printing and customization method in which each color in a design is separated and then burned to individual fine-mesh screens. The ink is transferred to the garment through the screen one at a time. This is the ideal method for events, teams, organizations and businesses because it is more cost-effective for printing large custom apparel orders.
For orders over 12+ pieces or more.
Digital Printing
Digital printing allows us to offer you the option to print custom designs with no minimum order requirement unlike screen printing which has a 12-piece minimum due to the extensive amount of prep time. Your custom design is printed directly onto the garment using water-based CMYK inks similar to inkjet printing. Our digital printing technique allows you to print one or millions of colors making it a perfect choice for full-color photographs, graphics, typography and more!
Recommended for orders that are less than 12 pieces.
Both printing methods guarantee excellent durability and wash-fastness or the ability of fabrics to retain the dyes used to color them over time. To help you decide, give us a call at 877-691-7728 and we’ll be happy to walk you through your order!
